Hello all, This is my first post and while not totally a neophyte I'm no golden ear that's for sure. I started out w/ what I thought was a decent h/t w/ a Yamaha rx-v665,Klipsch 500 set w/ 8in pwrd sub ,Denon1940ci cdp and a nice 37'' Toshiba flat screen.Well since after not being that much into movies I started to move more to tunes w/ cd and i-net radio and then pushing the avr clipped multiple times. It always came back and adjusted my listening levels but thankfully the avr comes w/pre/outs which I put to use. I bought sight and sound unseen from Audio Classics an Adcom gfa555 200wpc w/ the rack mount face for $300 w/shipping and then saw a pair of Infinity SM112S refoamed on C/L the town over, auditioned them and grabed them up.Using the avr now for a pre wasn't the best either so I found a garage sale Onkyo p301 on the cheap and a full 2chl system is in the house. Over time I've joined multiple audio forums to see what others have, what's garbage and what is worth jumping on.I've tried E-Bay and the sniping and high bids just price me out Audiogon is great again if you can afford it .Now I saw in a hi-end audio store a pair of Wharfedale EVO 30S in satin black.The're a trade in and used but he would let them go for $300.So is this a good price I haven't heard them yet but I'm sure they are better than my Infinitys .Sorry for the lenght of the post but I had to fill you dudes in.If there is a permanent sig let me know
