Thinking about Kef speakers

I'm new to this and not sure.
I've got a pioneer VSX-921 and I'm wanting to slowly set up a 7.1 system. (will pick up extra shifts at work for $$$) I'm looking at buying some front speakers price range $1500-$1700 and I've read ok things about the Kef Q700's. Would the amp handle these ok?
For the rest of the setup I'm probably going to stick with the rest of the Q series but don't want to spend money on good speakers if the amp is going to let me down.
If anyone has any other suggestions…

Should be okay w/ your amp, assuming your room is not bigger than 18'W x 20'L x 12'H and you don't listen louder than 92dB from 15' distance.

Both Vanns and Onecall have been known to sell the Q900 for about $1200/pr to people brave enough to call them. I know 2 different members on AVS.

One got the 5.0 KEF set (Q900 x2, Q600c x 1, Q800 x2) for $2200.

One got the same, except the Q300 for surrounds instead of Q800, for $2200.

Both from Vanns. But you have to call on phone and tell them what I just said.

Sorry should have let you know earlier I'm in Australia. I checked out the sites and neither of them ship outside the USA. Might have to increase my budget if I want the q700's or might have to look at the q500's. Does anyone know much about them?
