Be a lot easier to build that out of fiberglass (i.e. B&W Nautilus and JL Audio's Gatham) hehe.

Because they look like snot? :p To me they look more bizarre then gorgeous, but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I can't see myself ever owning them, assuming I could actually afford to get them in the first place of course...

Is the driver alignment really for best off-axis and imaging like they state, or is it more for time alignment of the drivers?

Ya, but it was free. The wife got it for me with bid shift points she got from working OT at the hospital. My baby loves me.

That's what it looks like to me, too, and is a good thing, tho I have no idea how this alone relates to better off axis response.
