The worst movie in history – Left Behind

Actually, to say it’s the worst movie is a misnomer. Movies have actors, scripts with a plot, a director, sometimes some semblance of special effects, and a budget of more than $500. This piece of garbage has none of those things, and is not worth the price of the DVD it was burned on.

I could go into what the movie is about, but honestly, it has so many plot holes, it could compare to a 2 ton block of Swiss cheese.

However, just as it was “fun” to view Plan 9 From Outer Space. Waterworld & Ishtar to see how bad they really were, if you feel compelled & don’t eat for at least 12 hours before viewing, by all means, see this tidbit of audio/video farce – if for no other reason than to have a good measuring stick to compare other movies to.

Might be fun to watch. My friends and I often enjoy a really bad movie as much as a good one.

Now you've piqued my interest.
You've been hanging around Alex too much, Dave. ;)

Hey Craig. We and our friends, every Friday night for years now, have been dutifully researching...trying to find THE worst movie ever made. This one will get on our list. Thanks. But it's going to have to go quite a piece to match the goofy dimwittedness of Eegah!

Sorry but no....Get Carter with Sly Stallone is the worst "movie" in history.

It's the only movie I have ever walked out on and demanded my money back. I even sat through Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle......

10,000 B.C is one of the more recent unwatchable movies. I've read some of the Left Behind books but agree the movie was poorly done.

didn't know there were Left Behind books.

i've always thought they were based on the Bible. :D

I studied in a religious "christian" school and i knew the story back and forth due to repeated viewings of the "thief in the night" movie

It’s kind of one of those “horrible car accident” scenarios - you know you’re going to witness terrible things, but you just have to look. In a sick sort of way, I would like other people to see it. I told my co-workers about how bad it was, then dared them to watch for themselves.

Problem Child with John Ritter was the first movie I walked out on...I was pretty young too, in my teens. I've also walked out on Talledega Nights and Pulse. I thought Pulse was Crank, but I had my titles mixed up. What a train wreck.

I walked out on Johnny Mnemonic, leaving some friends there, and happened to walk into Braveheart. When their movie was over, they came and grabbed me right at the cusp of the biggest battle scene. So, that sucked times two. lol

worst movie in my own HT is Cloverfield. I started to give a half-hearted rendition of Mystery Science Theater 3000 in the middle of it. Yeah, THAT good. :p

We already have an extensive thread on "worst movie of all time" :D We should just append this to that one.

I started doing that during Eyes Wide Shut. I was with a whole group of people that had all lost interest in the movie and were just joking around. Some lady behind us leaned forward and said, "Some people are trying to watch the movie". I looked right at her and just said, "Why?". Shortly thereafter, we all left. I saw what I went to see by that time anyway, if you know what I mean.;)

The worst movie I've seen is the latest Mummy movie. It was hilariously how bad it was, so we stayed for the whole thing. I almost died laughing when Jonathan threw the bomb out the plane door like a football.

I beg to differ, there is a worse movie out there and it is aptly titled "Penny Dreadul" Every year I review the "8 Movis to Die For" for Sound and Vision. What the 8 Movies are is nothing short of very low budget horror movies that weren't good enough to garner Hollywood support. Anyway for the past two years I have reviewed all the movies (I have enclosed the links, which are two very good reads) and surprising there are some real stinkers and some actual good movies that flew under the radar. But "Penny Dreadful" still makes me shudder with how bad that movie was.

I have to disagree with you. The worst movie ever is The Tomb directed by Ulli Lommel. I can't even begin to describe its crapyness.:D
