The Stand 2020 TV series

The 2020 version of Stephen King's "The Stand" will be released Dec 17 on CBS All Access.

This TV series was shot using the 6K Sony CineAlta Venice digital camera, so picture quality should be awesome.

Hmmmmm......the original series was pretty good, and the book was (literally) epic.

As usual with a remake, "don't mess it up!"

Just what we need now, a story about humans being wiped out by a plague. I've been reading the book Wanderers by Chuck Wendig, and while it's really good, I'm not finding the subject entertaining. I need more escapism.

I'm about 200 or so pages into the book. It's interesting they thought to release a TV show that's pretty much just what's going on outside. Granted, the virus in The Stand is much deadlier, but still.

I'll watch it though.
