The speaker company - 2 choices

Hi all, first time poster here and deffinately dont have the kind of cash to spend to get a great sounding system, but this is what I can do.

I am setting up a 3.1 setup, my first venture into home theater. I have a low budget so this is what I am working with. I have ordered the Denon AVR-1610 receiver, its on its way. I plan on getting this sub from TSC http://www.thespeakercompany.com/ASW-10-10-Subwoofer-P62C17.aspx.
One question I have is what kind of wire do I use to hook the sub up, do they use normal speaker wire or do I need a special cable for it?

Now the main question is there, hopefully anyone who has experience with these speakers can chime in. This will be for left/center/right.
Option 1.

Option 2.
http://www.thespeakercompany.com/RC1-Center-Channel-Speaker-P38C37.aspx and http://www.thespeakercompany.com/P6-PR-65-2-way-Bookshelf-Speaker-Pair-P37C37.aspx

Which would sound better? I plan on adding maybe a pair of the P5 or P6 at a later date for rears, but that could be over a year off, after we move out of this apartment.

since you will be connecting the subwoofer to the "subwoofer pre-out" on the receiver, you will need an RCA to RCA audio cable. If it is a short run to the sub, you can use one cable in the typical red/white stereo audio cable. If it is a run longer than 6', I recommend a digital audio coaxial cable. It's still RCA to RCA plugs, but the cable itself is RG59 coaxial cable.

Of your speaker choices, I would lean towards the 3 speaker set LCR3-P
It is a little strange, but you could save a few bucks getting 3 RC1 speakers separately, but I'm not sure which of the two options qualifies for the 20% off sale right now, maybe both.

How is the speaker company for 2ch? That is my primary focus and I was looking at their bookshelf line as well as some of their subs. The finish isn't too impressive though but pictures can be decieving.

Thanks, I ended up ordering the LCR3 set. I checked and the price for ordering 3 seperate was the same as the set, its just on the sale page they have the 20% allready taken off of the seperate ones, but when you enter the code at checkout it does nothing, with the package it takes off 30 bucks with the code.
So I ordered the denon 1610 yesterday and the LCR3 package with the ASW-10 sub today, cant wait to hear this...probably gonna be a huge setupup from my Sony CT-100 soundbar.

"zaluss" -
I set up TSC TST2 towers in a 5.1 setup for a musician friend. He tried them as a 2.0 system and liked the results, but when he added the subwoofer in a 2.1 setup on his receiver, he liked them even better. They did very well in an unforgiving large open room...they would do much better in a more controlled setting.
