I'm really angry about these "manufacturers" that put finished Class D amp modules in fancy cases and charge the moon for them. Jeff Rowland comes to mind. Using pretty cheap Pascal modules and charge 8k!(!) for an amp is simply perverse. I can get the same amp modules in a 400€ PA amp.
Sames goes for Hypex or IcePower. It's fine, companies have to design some good looking case, attach inputs and outputs and put the modules in there but come on... most of them do this in China! It's super cheap to make. I wish Gene would do a video calling these people out.
