OK, this is one of those guilty pleasures. It isn't a great horror/monster movie, but I liked it as I was always a Stan Winston fan, even thought the creature isn't seen extensively. The PQ is OK, but the movie was already very dark to begin with, so I wouldn't expect a whole lot from this one on that side, but the audio redo is very good on this one. The dts-HD track has a lot of LFE and is pretty clean overall. If the video were cleaned up half as good...though this is also the best it has ever looked. Story wise, it isn't too bad and it has some decent action later in, but it is almost a B-movie at times. Anyway, the other reason I mention it is because it is just $9.99 at Walmart, so fans should pick this one up. Everyone else, rent it.
