The Reaper on the CW (yes I said the CW, I know, I've never watched a show on that network either...) was really good last.

I guess Kevin Smith has a hand in it. Quite enjoyable show in a similar vibe to the Buffy-Angel type series, not exactly like that, but in the ballpark.

I look forward to the next episode. I actually liked it alot more than the Heroes season premier.

I'm with ya on Reaper. It's a clever and funny show. It's been set on my DVR. The chubby buddy is pretty funny as is the entire premise of the show. Hopefully they will keep the good writing up and it was get it's run.

Another guilty pleasure of my TV viewing is Burn Notice. Cool stories and chessy but good characters.

Yep, I've got Reaper set to record weekly too!!

I loved the premiere, and I agree this series has serious potential!! I still have an OTA antenna connected to my TV for the sole purpose of watching CW programming in HD. I also follow "Supernatural" and "Smallville".

I JUST finished watching the pilot for the second time. Great show. I think it's success will be greatly due to sock.

Looking forward to following this show, along with Scrubs, Smallville, The Office, and House.

Second show last night was also great.

Agree.

It's Buffy lite, but with more intentional humor thrown in. It seems to be falling into the monster/demon (with issues) of the week show.

IMNSHO, these things play out best when there's a variety of small characters that interject odd little things rather than depend on a small core to carry the entire persona.

The devil's a hoot. Great deadpan delivery. I can also see where the horny DMV lady can make herself known with her small but essential part. She reminds me of Mimi on the Drew Carey show. Fat buddy throws out some great lines but don't know too much about the third guy.

Oh, the store's boss plays the quintessential jerk very well.

Also, I couls quote Buckeye-Fan's sescond paragraph word for word, but he already said exactly what I was gonna say. Gotta love HD OTA, particularly at 1080i.
