the powered acoustimass module

ok so i got something simialar to this as a gift minus the center speaker

now here is my question i have these speakers hooked up to my receiver instead of the acoustimass module. and id like to use the acoustimass module as my subwoofer. but im missing the system input cable do you think i can still use it as a subwoofer if i get it the cable even though the other speakers are connected to the receiver? and if not do you know of any good subwoofers that are compatible with my speakers? thanks in advance

ok guys i think i figures out what im gonna do im gonna follow the diagram in this website except instead of connecting all the wires in the diagram im only going to connect 14 and 15

edit: when i do this should how do i figure out which pin is the red wire and which is the black wire?
edit2: im probably gonna re-write my thread in the diy corner if thats ok with the mods
