The DCM KX-12

DCM KX-212

DCM KX-212 Powered

Those would easily rival the Cerwins in their day.

I've always been a DCM fan for frat house noisemakers.

The 212 (non-powered) is four ohms, no? That can be an issue for some amps, though.

I am not sure of the impedance. Run those with a Behringer EP2500 and say hello to your local police officer... and goodbye to your eardrums :D

This thread is too funny. I remember the good ol' CV speakers from college. They were definitely the ones to have for parties. LOL I'm sitting here listening to my old Polk S10's that were my college speakers about 15 years or so ago. I forgot how good they can sound compared to my surround sound Polk satellite speakers.

I'm getting ready to set up a new HT system downstairs and am sitting in my kids future playroom just jammin' with the S10's while setting everything up. I'm gonna try and convince my wife to keep them but it might be a losing proposition. :(
