Had a look at it (for quite a while) at BestBuy the other day. It really is a beautiful panel! Mounted right alongside a Panny, an LG, and a much cheaper brand...no comparison really. The one thing I've noticed before with the Pioneer panels, and I'm not sure if this is because of better technology or just their "way" of doing things, is that if you take your finger, or a key, or any other object and put it right up against the screen, it practically "touches" the image! All the other panels (incl. the Panasonic) had that plate of glass that separates the image from your finger. The sales guy was completely unaware of this difference!
Obviously the 1080p panel isn't available yet...not that BestBuy carries Elite anyway...can't wait to see that!
