Anyone seen or heard the Micromega M One?

As far as I know it was on CES, not formally introduced yet, I think this is really interesting ...

Bluetooth aptX, LAN-Network 24bit /384kHz Asynchronous, SPDIF Coax-Opto-AES 24bit / 768kHz USB asynchronous passing DXD, DSD, DOP…, Phono MM / MC, Analog balanced and unbalanced inputs, and DSP with automatic room correction ...

Starting at $4000,-
Gene, will there be reviews?

I like that shroud idea at the back! Helps to protect cables and connections.

My one concern there would be the possibility of a short with the speaker cabling. Of course, presumably the person buying this is sophisticated enough not to do this.

It's supposedly two versions with class AB amplification
- M-One 100 delivering 2 * 200 Watt in 4 Ohm. (Probably 2 * 100 in 8 Ohm)
- M-One 150 delivering 2 * 300 Watt in 4 Ohm. (Probably 2 * 150 in 8 Ohm)
Nothing more details stated about the above figures on the German website that discusses this....

It's said that you can get it in any colour and finish that you want, anything is supposedly possible

I personally like this one:

Chassis is said to be a solid block of aliminium, very slick product

What bugs me is that there's only a mono subwoofer out (probably due to space constraints on the back panel), but there's stero xlr pre-out, so you can quite possibly use the pre-out with the sub, wonder if there's customizable hi-pass filter for main speakers and lo-pass for pre-out, at least there ought to be.

It's stated that there's also possibilities for automatic room correction, manual peq's + phase/time correction in the dsp :D

So you have to turn it upside down to make connections? What an ingenious and functional idea!

Those posts seem too far apart. ;) :D

Just that one time.

Or, scrunch down really low with flashlight in hand.
Wayne, Ken, the connection diagram on the under side clearly shows the target audience is people with glass shelf equipment racks with the shelf immediately below being kept empty. IMHO, this is the kind of genius we've lacked in AV for a long time :D.[/QUOTE]

You still need a mirror to look at the diagram, or a very small head connected to a very long neck. :D
