I don't get BBC but I'm a big fan of Dumas so I'll have to find a way to rent/stream this. Btw, I like the 1973 movie with Michael York, Oliver Reed, Raquel Welch (what's not to like about Raquel Welch?) and Faye Dunaway as Milady de Winter (she was a terrific Miilady).
