the marantz sr 7500

Hi all,
i have been searching all over the internet for opinions and reviews of the Marantz sr 7500. I dont seem to be having too much luck. I just wondered if it is half decent in terms of dynamics and the power output running 5 channels. I also read somewhere that this receiver uses Burr brown DAC's. Does anybody know if this is true too?

Marantz has been using Crystal DACs (Cirrus), which are quite good, and I don't see why they would switch. All the specifications are listed on their website www.marantz.com. Cirrus is listed for the 7500.

Burr-Brown is now I believe wholy owned by Ti, and I'm curious to see what that means long term.

I'm a big fan of Marantz and I have no problem recommending them. I've owned quite a few of their receivers and all have been solid. What speakers do you plan to run? 5.1 should be no problem for this guy.

Hi mate,
thank you for yor reply, it is much appreciated. It is good to know it a decent receiver.I plan to use it power my centre(mission M32i) and rear speakers (Mission M3DS) only as a rotel rb 1080 will power my floorstanders(mission m35i's)
