I've always been a bit of a science geek, especially when it comes to this stuff. I had a telescope when I was a kid and I remember freaking out the first time I actually was able to see the planet Jupiter clearly through the lens - it was incredible, especially to a 10 year old boy.

On a serious note, I also enjoy astronomy quite a bit. My dad used to take me out in the middle of the night to watch the meteor showers, comets, etc. We would even take pictures of the sky to see the stars swirling. He has a pretty big telescope as well that we would use to look at planets.

VERY COOL, indeed. i find that outer space is the most fascinating thing known to man. just imagine = everything imaginable by man = there is billions of times more than that ! there are millions of planets that have life, but they are soooo far away, we will never see them.

Well, that's the peculiar thing about infinity... there IS no ending.

Infinite must apply to space. You note in the OP's video that it goes out as far as man can perceive? Well, that's only as far as we can see and our perception does not define the finite boundary of the edge of space. Presumably, the universe goes on beyond our ability to detect or define it. I guess you could say that space is "probably" infinite because we will never be able to locate it's finite end, only the limits of our observation.
