I picked it up several days ago, and finally got around to watching it last night. Wow, I have to say it was one of those movies that is designed to hit you in that certain spot of your soul that was only created after 9/11.
I thought it was an excellent movie and very well done. It was fairly extreme in the violence, but I'm glad they chose to reveal the kind of madness we're up against in the world these days. My wife (weak stomach) had to turn away during some of the scenes, but I was absolutely glued. It truly withdraws the horrors of terrorism from the safe confines of CNN and gives you the real dose. I was happy to see that they omitted the usual round of Hollywood-esque crafty one-liners, and ominous music scores (even though it did have music in some places, but it was well placed) - the final shootout in the back alleyway - no music, just hard-hitting in your face urban warfare. It really made you feel like it was happening right in front of you.
Great movie.
