I keep getting threats of "being banned" by Jon "Mr. Jitter" Risch from the Cable Asylum" for asking questions like:

"Why on earth would digital cables need "burn-in"? They conduct "0"'s and "1"'s! What sonic characteristics could a cable conducting data impart upon the signal that would require a "break-in" period to remove? "

Apparently even questioning the accepted cable doctrine is against the rules.

Ted gave me a warning on 2/9 for even suggesting that Jon could not hear the difference of 1 foot in a cable. Then closed the thread.

Jon's also threatened me a couple of times. Although, to his credit I guess, he didn't even bat an eye over the flare up I had with Duster last back in January.

Some things are a waste of time. Trying to argue for common sense and science on AA are one of them.

Flee the Asylum. It's saner here. (Well, at least I find it a more congenial form of insanity!) :D

Talk to a brick wall, you will feel better and get further with it :D :D :D

I have been butting heads with him for a very long time.

They own the place, they dictate the rules and conduct, dictatorship.

You mean he is not right? Darn. I had my cables baking in the oven with a batch of brownies right now. I wanted that smooth chocolate sound that is so desireble these days.

Brownies???
That will get you brown cables. You want a smooth, chocoalte taste, you need Swiss milk chocolate in there to melt and vapor depost on the cable to be effective. Maybe dark chocolate will do but that I need to experiment with still :D :D :D

Don't forget the chocolately midrange that a good cable can bring out in your system. This was one of my design goals when I developed the GLOB cable. Also there is no need to cook or cryo treat them. Simply refrigerate before serving ;)

You don't go to a Catholic church service and question the Pope.
