Just picked up The Incredible Mr. Limpet, $11.99 at BB, my little boy loves it and it brought tons of nostalgia, I remember staying up late at night watching this movie during summer vacation. Always underrated, but good clean entertainment. I had looked around for this for a while and I could never find it on DVD, great transfer btw, kids love this movie since it goes from live action to a mixture of animation/live. Now I'm looking for a re-release of "The Spirit Is Willing," they have VHS/DVD transfers around but they're really bad quality.

I saw that on sale recently and thought the same thing. My kids are older, so not sure they would like it, but I was quite nostalgic also just seeing it in the store.

Yeah, I wasn't really looking for it, I just saw it on the shelf and this weird feeling of deja vu hit me, man I just had to get it.

I remember liking that movie as a kid. That's the one where Don Knotts turns into a fish right?

But $12 for a 40 year old movie???

Now if I could just find The Little Rascals on DVD. :D

Hey some of the oldies are the best! I saw the complete Three Stooges the other day, I should have picked it up. I do want to get all the Warner Brothers cartoons though.

I thought all the Warner cartoons DVD releases had been edited to remove some things considered inappropriate today? Also one of the reasons why they are not shown on TV these days.

If you look at the tins there is a disclaimer about contents being inappropriate, so apparently they left them intact.
