Watched this one over the weekend. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Solid drama with good acting and cinematography. Definitely worth a rent.

An aspiring author during the civil rights movement of the 1960s decides to write a book detailing the African-American maid's point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis.

My wife loved this movie. In fact it is only the 3rd or 4th time she has asked me to buy her a movie. She has rented it from Redbox 3 times.

I do want to watch it as the scenes I saw passing though looked very good. Bryce Dallas Howard plays one royal bit$h in the movie.

Yes, Bryce did a great job in that role. I got it from Redbox with one of the free codes. Not sure I would buy it myself, but I would watch it again for sure.

... but your right, they actually go out of their way to make her less attractive as that is what the part calls for. Then to make matters worse they take an absolute bomb shell and develop her character to the point where you 'feel' for her.

Oh I am quite the connousieur of "adult" movies. If Emma Stone ever comes out with a sex tape I'll be the first in line.
