The hdmi run

Hello again every buddy,the hdmi thing again I need to run a hdmi to dvi cable 18 feet but it says u should only run up to 15 feet,do i need to boost it for the extra 3 feet? O by the way I`m getting the new emotiva preamp when it comes out next year to do the the job and I have the RCA 52 inch rear projector tv if that helps

HDMI cables

Bluejeans cable has several good HDMI articles and they also sell cables rated to HDMI 1.2 and 1.3 in lengths up to 40-50 feet. A good cable should not have any problem with your 18-20 foot run.

Agreed ... a high quality cable shouldn't have too many problems with a 20' run.
