It uses themes from Poe's work to craft an original story. It is not an adaptation of any particular Poe story.

The overall theme is a play on Poe’s Usher story mixed with big Pharma as the bad guys like most stories lately. Then each episode has a Poe story title with the death like the one in the story. Good stuff with a few jolts that will make you jump. Some gore but not too gory. 8 episodes is long like most series now but since each episode tells a story it doesn’t drag and you don’t have to binge to keep up. Would recommend but since Halloween is over we’re on to Thanksgiving!

I thought this was a very well done series. The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
