Thats a pretty sweet deal. I got my Yamaha RX-V2500 off of Ubid a few months back and was completely happy with the service / product.

That's 2nd Day, Zoran. For my address, Standard Ground comes up to $34.82 and I'm about a 1,000 miles from where they ship from... -TD

They are insane as far as shipping goes. You have to watch that when you are looking to buy something. I got my SR-8400 for under $500 but it costed me $50 to ship! That's from Chicago to Milwaukee (about 100 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!). It was still a HUGE deal, so I went for it.

If the prices weren't so low, it would be a total scam.

$320 plus $72=around $400, I did not pay that much when it was a BRAND NEW UNIT YEARS AGO!:(

Ubid has always been a bit outrageous on their shipping costs. It does seem to me that they've tamed them a bit from what they were less than a year ago. Best bet is to stay away from the heavy stuff like Televisions. Those cost will kill ya!

About 5 years ago, I picked up a pair of fInfinity IL50s that shipped about 60 lbs a piece from uBid. The shipping was pretty brutal, but considering that the pricing for the speakers themselves stayed fairly low and factoring total cost, what I got was still a heck of a deal.

When considering your purchase, one should always factor in the unit price, shipping, tax (if applicable) or any other fees associated. The total price is what you're spending, not the unit price. Sounds like common sense, but you'd be surprised at how many consumers don't look at the 'big picture'... -TD

It depends on what you're buying too. I purchased a couple of Samsung DVD-HD841's and paid about $20 shipping to Plano, TX(75057 area code).
