The Cable Controversy is Over

"Using a proprietary and patented rare earth carbon nanotube sputtering process and employing exclusive vapor deposited molybdenum precipitate occlusions the Lirpa 1 engineering team has achieved the elusive and long sought mil spec for multiple rebendables making it surprisingly robust -and thermally self approximating!"

I was a little skeptical at first but the above reference sentence convinced me. This is amazing! And, it sputters rare earth carbon! What more could you want?

It seems like all the brilliant minds once worked at Starbucks.

Lol

Pretty funny.

The photo of the back of his receiver shows "made in Canada", yet he states at the bottom of the ad:

"CE Mark Warning - This equipment should not (and probably could not) be operated in Canada or the EU under any circumstances."

Jackass.

..... Then in 1947, although only two years old, Lirpa began teaching at the Czech Technical University where he taught.

This product is about as legitimate as our GLOB. Are people really that naive?

I loved the "Japanenglish" instructions at the end. But I smell a rat: I'm pretty sure there were no Starbucks in Prague in 1947.

On the same site, check out the Hal 9000 computer sale. :D

I'll have you know that I own one of the signature versions of that CD player. The Lirpa Sherpa was the only CD player to have measureable wow and flutter. Talk about the sound of vinyl from digital!

Come on guys, read the fine print on the front page.

"April Fools
Some have asked that we leave a link up for last year's prank:The Lirpa 1 Wireless Cable!"

I guess a sucker is born every day.

As physics proves, the observer changes the observed, so the Lirpa 1 exists if you believe it exists.

For all our customers worldwide we feel it necessary to note that we have moved the sites of the Lirpa1 product data sheet and the PP liquid state video storage unit. Unclegeo.net is the domain slash LirpaIndstries.

Note that no one has, of yet, purchased the Hal 9000. We will accept only serious offers.

Sincerely,

Dr. E. Lirpa Sr.

PS, Mr. BuckeyeFan 1, you may now safely operate your Lirpa 1 in Canada, provided the proper authorities are notified and the octagonal frequency hopping is recalibrated to Canadian broadcast band descriptors using the dip switch accessory (purchased separately). Mr Rip Van Woofer, you are indeed correct to note that there were no Starbucks in Prague in 1947. Forgive my error, It was indeed 1948. One forgets these things.

Can I use the Lirpa 1 to make a connection from my mobile phone's micro USB port to my leaf blower's power plug? I'm not sure what the end result will be, but I bet it'll be magic!

By the way, the link Dr. Lirpa attempted to share is http://unclegeo.net/LirpaIndustries/

Hats off to you, Dr. Lirpa, for coming back 10 years to the day since the last post. At first I thought it was just superhuman patience, but my guess is that one of your experiments went horribly wrong...or right...and you've been popping in and out of space/time. Congratulations on making it back through the rift to 2015, but if you came back for hover boards and flying cars, well...I'm so sorry.

As for Hal 9000, I'll trade you a 2011 Mac Mini. Sure, the Mini is more powerful and much smaller, so you've got to be asking why I'd trade down so far. Honestly, I'm a sucker for shiny red lights. That, and I have a soft spot for homicidal AI. PM me if interested.

Rojo, apparently my reputation did not precede me as I was forbidden to post a link. You have done us all a great service and for that, sir, I thank you.

And yes, the Lirpa 1 is fully backwards, forwards and upwards compatible with both leaf blower power input ports and with Android OSes (we have no plans to develop an iPhone app). We have not actually tested leaf blowers, but we have tested steamshovels, drones and Kuerigs. All work just fine, though they do leave a precipitate. I'd suggest making the connection and then getting out of the way. And I must say that there is no magic involved -only solid Quantum Chromodynamics.

BTW, we have tested Monster Cables in the LirpaLabs and we could detect no difference in audio purity from that obtained with lamp cord (however our dogs seemed slightly unnerved). Google "James Randi Monster Cables" if you believe you can detect a difference -there's a million dollars waiting for you. We also extensively tested cable lifters and can happily report that they do indeed lift cables, though we found no difference between the $100 and $150 products.

Adam, you are partially correct: I do not have the patience you suggest (this, Mrs. Lirpa verifies). I also do not have superpowers; rather, through Schroedinger's superposition, I (and my cat) simultaneously exist in the present, the past and the future, as long as no one is watching us (we had a hard night in Singapore in 2093 -but that's another story). Hence my earlier reply is both contemporaneous and late. And indeed this was the result of a lab mishap (I really must cap those thermal deviators). Fear not: I'm happy to report that Kia will introduce a flying car in 2038. I owned one for many years -small, but stable in a crosswind. Fortunately for you, Adam, hoverboards exist in the present: Goggle "Tony Hawk and Hoverboard".

Tempting as a 2011 Mac Mini is, Lirpa Industries does not take trade ins. There's also Hal to think about; he's only more paranoid than he was in 1967 and being replaced by something so small (and shiny) may send him into another of his legendary snits -and we all know what happened last time...

And a tip of the hat to our admin, hopefully bored no more!
