Cheap acoustic treatments! They have helped focus/clarify the mid to higher frequencies a bit (better imaging), I also get a good bit less echo if I clap my hands. I'd like to do more treatments but I don't want to overdo it in my bedroom to be honest. The lamp is from Target, around $30 or 40 if I recall. It takes three bulbs.

I really like how their entire line of speakers sound. SheepStar

They don't make a big difference, but they help a bit. I have bigger plans for down the road, but in my current living & budget situation as a grad student, an inexpensive thing that helps a bit is something I'm happy to have. It's a small room, which I don't know but I guess works in their favor. I'd love to get some of the GIK tri traps or something but I can only actually put them in one corner and all the other corner shaped ones I saw were too big for me to be able to use in my room. If it weren't my bedroom I'd definitely do a lot more.
