Audioholics and e-Store have always been two separate companies but there was often confusion about them being one in the same. It's time to end that confusion. The easiest way to do that is to rename the store and re-brand it on its very own top level domain. The E-store is being rebranded as bad robot and moving to the domain bad robot.com.

bad robot.com is ready to fly on its own. Its wings have matured and the folks associated with the Store are ready to succeed in the world of audio and video electronics without the confusion of sharing a name with an impartial online A/V review magazine. bad robot will continue to provide the same great service, product selection, 30-day return and warranty policies as the original e-Store, and Audioholics will still have a great relationship with the folks who run it. You will soon see the store transition in name and URL to bad robot.com.

It's a great new direction for all parties involved and we're very excited to see the store get to this level!

Good move, IMO. Having a store with the same name as this website, with hyperlinks from this website, that sold items reviewed on this site clearly led to an association and confusion about them being the same company. When they were selling very expensive cables with descriptions contrary to what helped build this website, I think that it chipped away at your reputation. Just my opinion - but I think it's good that the name changed. I have nothing against the store, btw, but I'm happy that the name changed.

I do love the irony of the Estore selling exotic cables while we poke fun at them. I think I may miss that the most ;)
