That's......."The Spirit" BR!!!!!!

Folks, just got done watching The Spirit on BR and must say I really liked it. That is, the PQ was very good and the sound in DTS HD 7.1 really surprised me at times. Very similar style to the movie Sin City. Likewise, there was a lot of eye-candy in this one-the same can easily be said for Sin City. For example, Eva Mendes is just so darn sexy it should be outlawed! What would I give..........Lmao! Anyways, I think this movie was worth a look. I would NOT say it is the best I have ever seen, but it certainly far from the worst. I would give this one say a 7.5 out of 10 mainly due to all of the hotties in it.

Not only becasue it is the same director, but the overall look as well, it just looked like a knock off of Sin City. I am going to have a movie night in the next week or so, and this will likely be the flick of chioce for the guys for pizza & beer night. Hotties go a long way to making a mediocre movie tolerable.

I could not agree more with respect to the hottie thing. The movie is decent, but I do think that I liked Sin City a bit better. In other words, I would have to give Sin City a 7.75 mainly because I followed the story better. Perhaps, it was just more interesting-who knows? I am sure the guys will tolerate it though. I must say, however, that I laughed more watching The Spirit.

Maybe Rodriguez is getting too big for his britches? He is not hungry anymore...where his early stuff was excellent - violent and very funny at the same time, the new stuff is more "show" than "go". I still like his stuff

So very true here John. I think I laughed more though in The Spirit than I did in Sin City. Samuel L. Jackson was very funny. In fact, he kind of stole the show imho. Such a seasoned actor.
