After a LOT of research, about 5000 "What does everyone think of XXXX?" posts and a bunch of back-and-forth, I have finally finalized my two HT rooms. Still need to do room correction and some tuning, but am very happy with what I have so far. Here is what I finalized upon:

Basement rec room/HT:
Panasonic VT60 65" tv
Denon 3312ci AVR (repurposed from another room)
Oppo BDP-103 Blu-Ray player
AppleTV
Aperion Verus Grand Bookshelf and Grand Forte center
Aperion Intimus 4BP bipole surrounds
HSU VTF-2 Mk 4 subwoofer
Wall treatments from ATS Acoustics

Family room:
Samsung 59" plasma (existing)
Anthem MRX-700 AVR
Totem Rainmaker L/R/C
MoPad isolation pads (speakers are on a media stand rather than speaker stands)
Existing Jamo in-celing surround speakers (yeah, I know, but it's a family room. I may replace these with better in-ceilings down the road, but not a current priority)
HSU VTF-3 Mk4 subwoofer
Existing Panasonic Blu-Ray player
AppleTV

Monoprice/Bluejean cables everywhere

Very excited to run Audyssey and ARC, get these configured and start to do some critical listening. Initial tests sound fantastic - love both sets of bookshelves in the rooms that they are in. Will report back and let everyone know how both music and movies come through.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who read my posts and offered help and suggestions throughout this process. J_Garcia, AcuDefTechGuy, ImCloud, BoredSysAdmin were all particularly helpful so wanted to thank you guys especially for all the help.

Now I just need a few of those Akiko tuning sticks and I'll be set.....

People seldom come back to give thanks as graciously as you have. Good show, cheers...
