I've been reading posts on this forum for some time and the folks here seem "Extremely" knowledgeable about the topics. Thanks for all the find postings!

Now on to my question:

I'm looking at getting the Panasonic 58" and am getting a Sanus VMPL3 mount for it. I was going to install the mount before I got the TV and need to know if the 4 mount holes on the back of the TV are centered on the unit. I don't want to put up the mount only to find out that it is too low thus hitting the fireplace mantle, or too high up.

I know this is a simple question but thanks in advance. I'm sure to have other questions and will gladly post entries with any tips/tricks I find along the way.

To be honest I would wait to have the TV on hand and take careful measurements as to height of TV, it's easier to measure and install once than twice.

I agree. You need to have the TV there before you install. When you attach the bracket to the back, it will give you an idea where the unit will mount and how it looks when it hangs.

Thanks for the advice.

When put the way you guys put it, I agree with waiting for the TV so I can measure it first.

Thanks for the handy nudge.

If you mount the brackets first and have to change it, the tv will cover the holes in the wall.:D:D
