I was listening to Joe Walsh - But Seriously Folks and there is one low bass note somewhere that caught my attention that is hardly audible, I am curious if it's limitations of my system presently or on the recording. I found this CD offer on the web, actually I was looking at the files you burn to a CD yourself. I remember reading here somewhere about being careful with test tones on subwoofers. Has anyone used this particular product?

A good rule of thumb is to turn the volume down at first and then slowly turn up until you get a reading of 70-75 dB with a dB meter.

I would recommend using tnsetup.exe which I found on one of the download sites. It generates test tones for whatever frequency and duration you want. You can use it for free for 30 days, then you have to pay for it. Basically you generate all the test tones you think you need before the 30 days are up. For subwoofer setup you can find a list of tones under the Behringer Feedback Destroyer DSP 1124P. There is an excell spreadsheet which lists the tones, provides RS SPL Meter corrections and graphs your corrected frequency response.
