Im looking to build a surround sound system from scratch (my first by the way) and i came up with 2 setups tell me what you think all feedback is welcome.

Receiver will be Yamaha rx v1700 for both setups.

1.
Mirage omnisat v2 fs front left and right
Mirage omnisat v2 cc center
Mirage omnisat v2 Sat or Nanosat for back surround
Definitive Pro Sub 1000 for Sub.

2.
Definitive BP 7006 front left and right
Definitive Procenter 1000 center
Mirage Omnisat V2 or Nanosat for back surround
NO sub the BP 7006 has subs built in.

My room is about 17x25 hardwood floors.
As you can tell i really like the Mirage speakers for back surround but I think they need a little kick up front ,more boom! boom! lol.

For a room that big you definitely want a sub, maybe even 2 :D.

I'd personally opt for whatever you like better. As for subwoofering, I would always go for a separate subwoofer, or two (or three or four).

sub

Yes in setup 1. i will have a SUB but I can wait and see how it sounds in setup 2 as the Definitive BP7006 each have a 8' sub built into the tower.

I demod both these setups at one of the Magnolia theaters at Best Buy and they both kicked butt!, just cant decide.
Which one would you pick if any or how would you tweak it.
