Hey guys I have a pretty ancient technics am/fm,amp and cassette player system. Just last week it stopped working. I don't think there is any power coming into it because when I click the on/off switch it doesn't turn on. Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks in advance :)

Start by checking the fuse. Of course, if it is burned out, then some other problem may have burned it out. Probably replace it, maybe do a general visual inspection for obvious problems, and see if it blows. Could be the PS has gone out

Edit: it's not the st- 5l. The st 5l and the cassette deck is powered by the amp, a technics su-3

The fm and cassette deck switch on if they are plugged in independently but not when they are plugged into the su-3. Also tried connecting the su 3 to the cassette and fm deck but it didn't come on. So I'm guessing it's something to do with the power cable of te su 3. How do I fix it?

So, if you plug in FM or Deck to the wall power, no problem? If you plug power to outlet on the SU3, nothing?

What does the SU3 do? No power at all? Or just can't seem to power the other components?
