Hi Guys.
I'm new to this forum so please ignore my lack of knowledge in speakers.
I got a pair of Technics SB-TD910 3-way 200watt speakers from a buddy for free. I am thinking of putting the 2 15" woofers in my car to give it a little extra bass :)
I know that these are 200w peak and i think about 120w rms for the whole 3-way system.
I know that these speakers are 8ohm each and if i wire them in parallel to the amp i will get 4ohm thus my auto amp will be able to push them.
My question is how much watts do you think each 15" woofer is able to handle? I've got a 200w rms 4ohm amp that will push these two woofers thus 100w to each woofer. Do you guys think that this will be too much for the speakers?
Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank gyus.

I'm sure that would work, but don't expect them to last forever or sound good in a car.

Thanks for the response. I'm not expecting them last too long. This is just an excuse to build up my sound system one piece at a time, once i find a good sub for a good price i'll change it up.
About sounding good, i don't think they'll sound like crap just not like a good sub, but still they'll give me a nice thump, i hope.
