Hi everyone - new to group and anxious to take advantage of all the knowledge here.
My first post is about a Technics SA-R230 receiver that I have. Not much invested (under $35 so far).
I've opened it up, cleaned it and found left channel is not working. I see some burnt solders on the board, and can probably source all those components for about $30. Then I have to solder (or have a friend do it
), and I might have a working receiver.
Any thoughts or advice on this plan? I like the receiver because of the built in equalizer (similar to a JVC R-S33 Super-A that I have had forever).
