My first post and hopefully I can find as much info here as possible. Been browsing here for awhile and seems there is alot of great info and resources.
Been looking for a 1200 for awhile and my search went on hold 2 years ago when #2 was born. Now that i'm back in the hunt...and been out of the loop since then.... I found out they were discontinued
I happened to find a lightly used Mk5 and was not DJ'd...only home use for $450, figured I should take the plunge.
Does not come with a stylus and have heard good things here about the Denon DL-110. Should I go with the Denon or is there anything current that performs as well for the price?
My receiver is a Denon 3300 so I will use that as the preamp since it does have a PHONO input, never used that input so I cannot comment on it's effectiveness.
I assume for $450 the Mk5 is the better choice in that price range?
