Technical problem...

Didn't know where to post this, so it's ending up here. Why in the world can I not click on someone's username (including my own) and get a drop down menu that let's me PM someone? I recall mistakenly putting in my birth year at registration as 2009 at the time of registration, but attempted to email a mod to make amends. What's up with my account or does this forum have things locked down tighter than any other vBulletin forum that I'm a member of??

Hi. Once you get five posts, you can PM (as long as you aren't still awaiting registration confirmation, which you aren't). Just post two more here (I doubt anyone will care), and then you can do it.

We have a steady stream of spammers that make a mess of things, hence the steps in security.

When you hit five posts you'll also be able to go into your user cp and edit your own birth date as well as PM.

I hate to hijack a thread, but unfortunately I can't create one of my own, and I'm hoping to somehow grab the attention of a moderator or administrator. I'm an avid lurker of this forum and would love to have the option of starting new threads, sending PMs, etc., however, my account hasn't been activated (misplaced e-mail perhaps). I've tried posting in the sticky regarding this issue, but I have yet to receive a confirmation or reply. If anyone can help me, that would be fantastic.
