You think I'm joking, right?

My camera is starting to show it's age as a video recording device. :p

Regardless, play it in 720p for best audio. It still lower quality than my source thanks to Youtube, but I'm not going to mess with it again.

So, why? Boredom I guess.

It's playing a TDK D90 copy of Chili Pepers - Get on Top, recorded from CD by the Technics M224; a 2 head deck.

So, hierarchy speaking:
CD>M224>R-888x>Camera>Youtube>Whatever your stuff is

I don't see how it could get worse! :D

I will take some pictures of it later; it's pretty much mint. It could use a few parts though; the belt is not quite the right one, the motor is shot, and the bias oscillator is acting up. It's not recording quite right.

I'll get it running sometime :D
Overall, for a shot motor and a rubber band, it's doing really really well!

That's awesome!

considering all the camera and youtube degredation, that seemed to be pretty smooth quality for a tape. Very retro.

I'm still enjoying my Sony TC-K950ES, which I purchased new about 20 years ago. It sounds real good with Maxell UD-XL tape. It is arguably the best cassette tape recorder Sony produced.
