I have a pair which I use as TV speakers (variable audio out from TV to a T-amp). I think I paid $80 or $90 from accessories for less.
They are just that, $100 speakers. They are good if you are sick of the sound of built in TV speakers or maybe as desktop speakers.
These would not be my choice as my only pair of speakers. For a little more you can do better, like the Cambridge Audio S30.

That's what I'm planning on getting, Cambridge Audio S30 and TV speakers as well as speakers for music while I'm playing on my PS4/relaxing. I want good bass with a clear, crystal sound.
