TC2000 found a new home

This is a youtube video my boxmaker made of my TC2000 15" playing in an old 15" ported box he had laying around. Bought a Jeep and had to throw this sucker in the back.

this one is off just 500 rms. Remember this sucker can take like 1500. This exact driver I had going 2x that hard, easily.

ok, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm really curious.. is that how bass is supposed to sound? it just sounds like somebody making farting noises. it seems to me that, that isnt really showing those drivers in a very good light.

Its a cheap mic on the video cam.....

Those drivers are great and provide excellent SQ - the problem is that they are putting the mic way to close and the mic can't handle the SPL's - which is also overpowering the normal speakers in the car....

Honestly I just don't get the whole car audio thing... but then again, if it wasn't for that world, we likely wouldn't have such amazing drivers out there like JL and TC-Sounds... so I guess its a good thing

It's about the drivers smoothness and action. It's a pretty sight. If you don't understand that is fine. The video was taken from a phone so you can not expect much.

i'm not trolling for anything I was just asking a question since I didnt get the point.. and yeah I understand you cant take a video and represent the actual sound, or quality. I think its a good point about car audio driving technology in drivers ( no pun intended) and thats a good thing.

When you look at this driver at $300 new and the SQ it provides is spectacular. This is a very nice sounding "Daily Driver."

I don't mind good speakers but bass in a car is just lame too me. Still it's very impressive stuff that TC puts out.
