For anyone interested, just thought I would post this...

Not sure on prices just yet, I have an email out to them, I'm looking to pick up some 18" LMS's, which have been improved upon over the already legendary product they already had...

Hello,

Here's the latest information regarding the launch date of our new products.

All of our products will be available in eight weeks.

Here's the list of our products:

Epic 10D2" and 12D2"

Axis 12Q1" and 15Q1"

LMS-R 12" and 15" (This is the Revo with a 3" linear voice coil)

LMS Ultra 5400 18"

Pro Audio 18"

Aura Top Assembly 18"

VMP (Passive Radiators) 12", 15" and 18"

We made some major and some minor tweaks to everything.

All products have detachable top assemblies except for the Epics. You will be able to purchase top assemblies separately. Our new products will have silver baskets and black cones with TC Sounds logo. Also, we have new and improved packaging.

We are excepting pre-orders. We require a 50% deposit now and the remainder when the products ships. If you want to place a pre-order please contact julie@tcsounds.com. Our prices do not include shipping. If you need a shipping quote send your zip code along with your pre-order request and we can get you an estimated shipping cost.

Some of you know us as Audiopulse, TC Sounds used the name Audiopulse for a short time. We are switching back to our original name of TC Sounds.

Our website has not been updated yet, we apologize for the delay and any confusion this has caused.

We appreciate your support, thanks for choosing TC Sounds. Have a great day!

Yeah.... I just pre-ordered 3 of the new 18" LMS's...

I should be getting my 2 18" Gen1's this weekend...

So I think I should be set in the woofage dept for many many years to come, I'll likely be selling off my JL F112 in the future, when I get a box built for the replacement... :)

They are offering a 10% discount on the new models with pre-order...
Price is $1599.00 each otherwise..

LOL not budget enough for my setup, but I couldn't imagine a ported 18" LMS. That would be insane beyond comprehension. It's gotta be flat to like 10hz.

On paper they never really looked all that great ported, but Funky waves built one in a sonotube, it measured spectacularly....

I know the info on that sub is over on Home Theater Shack somewhere, just can't find it..

do they have a pricelist?
You'd have to call or email them...

I have a feeling that - that was the only LMS driver they have or had.

They are pretty expensive - they wanted quite a bit for that product mike from what I recall...

Latest news of the Rebirth

Well, as of today - TCSounds is back in business and is starting to ship product today.... starting with 18" LMS's newly designed and revamped model. They will supposedly be getting the rest of the lineup ready in the the times to come.

I ordered 2 of the 18" LMS's and got notice that they are shipping today...

What scares me with those things is the RMS power. 5000 watts!!

I may need 400 ampere service available to drive them properly :)

I would rather have a more efficient option and give up little bit of output.

The motor linearity is nothing to take lightly though. I have seen the BL charts on those things and they are amazing.

From what I can tell, it's an improved version of the 18" that bassmaxx used in their cabinets.

Warp... I can not believe the number of high performance super subs you are using in your living room area. Incredible.

Do you want to be able to make guests vomit upon themselves when you will it? :)

How do the LMS 18" units compare to the diycable.com Maelstrom 18" drivers? I would expect substantially higher SPL from the LMS without hint of distortion (maybe 3-4dB more output; 50-65% more linear output) as compared to the Malstrom, but that's just a guess.

Also, how much power do you have to feed the LMS(I have heard they can take up to 5000 RMS amplifiers with no problem)?
