Tape2 monitor missing on my yamaha

I am trying to incorporate an eq to my htr-5460 any help would greatly be apreciated. I have it plugged into the md in and out but I can not find the monitor switch.

You can't find the tape monitor because it doesn't exist. Very few receivers nowadays include a tape monitor loop.

Not really. Basically, there are too many channels and too much stuff (especially with the Yamaha DSPs) on the HT recievers to make 2ch EQs of much use any more.
