I'm trying to record some old cassettes onto CD (and then computer) using a used music hall trio i recently got and don't understand why the tape input doesn't appear when I rotate through the various inputs. I've plugged a couple different RCA cables into it but nothing seems to trigger it into registering. Is there something I don't understand about this tape input?
(To get around it, i'm plugging the tape into the dvd and recording that way, but i'd prefer to not have to reconfigure the routing every time i need to record. especially since the tape input is now sitting there useless)
