I am doing my first home theatre and I have just got a second hand Sony AV reciever for £78.00 off ebay, and I was planning to buy separate Tannoy Mercury Custom speakers to set up 5.1 surround sound, but all the prices of these speakers it seems have suddenly risen over the last month by about £30 and I expect by the time I am actually able to get the cash to buy them all the prices will have risen again. Looking round the Richer Sounds website, I noticed that they had the Tannoy SFX 5.1 HTIB in silver for £144.99, but they also have it in black for £199.95. They also have the Tannoy FX 5.1 for £149.95 and the Onkyo SKSHT518 for £169.95.
I am now just confused as they have the SFX for two very different prices and I am not quite sure which one to get so can anyone recomend to me which is the best set????
