Tannoy saturn s8c vs Tannoy revolution rc

Hey everyone,

Can buy either one of them pretty cheap, for the same price.
Couldn't find much online, only that the rc is very heavy, on the other hand the s8c has dual concentric...
Both in good condition.

Anyone has any experience with any of them?

What are your main speakers? Closest match would be what I'd want.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. The main are saturn S6 which makes the s8c a natural choice.
I was just impressed by the rc weight thinking it might have an advantage.

That's really hard to say going by weight alone, tho it does sometimes mean a more stout cabinet. I think the concentric drivers will have a different timbre tho and if that's the match for your main speakers that's what I'd do.

*Edit: I just looked up your S6s. Not a bad looking speaker. More modern looking than I'd pictured. But yeah, the S8C looks to be a good match for your towers.
