Tannoy PS115 vs. SVS PB10-ISD?

Ok, so I know that these subs are not really in the same class but this is my dilemma... I can get a used Tannoy PS115 for $425 or a brand new SVS PB10-ISD for $429, the Tannoy is only 100 watts but it's a 15" sub. The SVS is 300 watts but it's only a 10". Does anyone have experience with either of these? Or what are your opinions? Which one will drive my neighbours more nuts?

Got any info on the Tannoy? I didn't find a listing for PS115.

SVS. Hands down. No contest.:D
.....in this case for sure.....100 watts for a 15?....that boils down to what would have to be very little excursion, or a speaker element I wouldn't want....no more than a "rumbler".....sorry if this steps on any toes....think voice.....for me it's 12 inch max for a sub element, 10 inch voice preferred.....I've said it once, I'll say it again....were I starting over, it would be two PB 10 ISD's.....

thanx guys, I was leaning towards the SVS as well based on reviews, and it's brand new...

According to Tannoy's spec on their current 15" studio sub, the -3dB point is 25Hz and it is indeed a 100wRMS amp. IMO, that's pathetic. PB-10 vote here.

Yeah, PB-10.

The PB-10 is 300RMS, not peak. Has much more headroom then the tannoy.

Also, its negative 3dB point is 20.

All I can say is, the PB-10 is really hard to beat at the price.
