Has anyone figure out a way to keep the aluminum type chimney pipes from rattling? Mine goes crazy with bass; there is a lot of room around it in the wall but I am afraid that wrapping it with insulation is a bad idea as the pipe gets really hot when a fire is light. What can be done?

What exactly is the rattle? Are they rattling along the entire length of the pipes against the inside of the walls, or are the pipes only rattling at contact points at each end? I definitely wouldnt wrap the pipes unless you're 100% certain you chose a material wisely.

If you can pinpoint exactly how and where it's rattling, you should be able to tack, tighten, and do whatever is needed to secure the pipe:)
