I've never been an Apple guy, iFan, or Pod-person but after the bashing that they took in the media and various forums that it's only fair to post This American Life's retraction of their original story. This guy fooled a lot of very smart goodhearted people.

This American Life’s Damning Foxconn Report Was Mostly Made Up

This American Life has retracted its episode about working conditions at Foxconn. Apple challenged the veracity of the reporting in the piece when if first ran in January, and in an episode set to air later today, the radio show will confirm that Mike Daisey made up some of the most shocking facts in his story.

Who in their right mind would lie to Ira Glass?

That was my first reaction to the revelation that the theatrical monologuist Mike Daisey had lied or fabricated — or in his words, “taken dramatic license” with — certain parts of his stage play, “The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs.”
