Hi All,
Anyone use the the Sony TA-P9000ES multichannel analog preamplifier with newer High Definition optical disc players such as HD-DVD and or Blu-Ray?
Seriously considering adding this to my aging TA-E9000ES pre/pro to take advantage of newer lossless audio codecs like Dolby TrueHD. It's too bad
no current gen Blu-Ray players process DTS-HD MA. Sorta lame that Fox
and Lionsgate put out BD titles using DTS-HD MA when there isn't any
effective way yet to hear this with current gen hardware out there.
Also it would be super cool if somebody created a HDMI to six channel
analog out to get the PCM/Lossless audio out of BD/HD-DVD players that
are deficient of six channel analog outs to plug into older pre/pro's
that have six channel analog inputs. Leaving the players to process
audio formats seems like a no brainer. Since I assume not everybody
wants to throw out the pre-pros and receivers to hear what many of these players are capable of processing internally.
If there folks out there that want sell their TA-P9000ES I am interested
in hearing from you.
Cheers,
