First i'll list my gear:

Power amp - Music Hall a25.2 http://musichall.biz/pdfs/music-hall-audio-a25.2-integrated-amplifier-manual.pdf
Speakers - Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 Diamond 10.1 | Wharfedale Hi-Fi
Headphones - AKG K240 MKII
Turntable - Music Hall mmf2.2
Pre-amp - pa1.2 http://musichall.biz/pdfs/music-hall-pa1.2-phono-amp-manual.pdf
CD/SACD Player - Playstation 3
Digital Player - computer + Creative Soundblaster sound card, which is hooked up to my amp via a 3.5mm to RCA cablehttp://www.creative.com/oem/resources/SoundCards/SB046x.pdf

From time to time, usually when i'm listening from my computer the right-channel will cut out partially with and have heavy distortion for a few seconds. This will also occur to a lesser extent using my PS3 as a CD player (connected via standard rca cable). However, it does not occur at all when i'm using my turn table. It doesn't occur when I have my headphones plugged in directly to my soundcard either (or when my headphones are plugged into my amp using the CD player).
The only thing I think I can rule out are the speakers. I also know that my 3.5mm to RCA cable doesn't hold a great connection and has given me problems before but since I have this problem with my CD player too it leads me to believe that the cable isn't the problem.

My fear is that my power amp is somehow the problem...something to with the digital line levels maybe since I don't have issues with my turntable though its phono preamp.

Should I take the power amp to a shop to get it troubleshooted or someone have some info not obvious to me that may help in this situation?

Thanks,
Steven.
