I recently picked up a new widescreen HDTV monitor. We also bought a low stand with 2 doors for a/v equipment. I have installed the Tivo unit as well as the Cable box and will soon be installing a HTIB system as soon as I find one I like that is reasonable. The question I have is the doors contain the heat from the a/v equipment so I need a way to exhaust the cabinet. Can anyone recommend a ready to install cooling fan. My electronic prowess is limited so something out of the box would be nice.

Thanks

Do you have any ideay about the temperature in the stand? If you can keep your hands on the components everything should be all right.

If the back of the stand is open, it will probably be ok. You can always open the glass doors if you will be using the a/v equipment for a long time.

Otherwise, try Radio Shack for small fans.

If you ever decide to install a cooling AC Fan, you got to have an air intake opening on the opposite side where the fan is mounted to.

These 3 cooling fans work with 110VAC so you can plug it straight to an AC outlet with an extention cord an you're in businness.
